Our multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, a social worker, occupational therapists, speech therapists, a physical therapist, and social workers that work closely together to help your child thrive, even when challenges arise.
You’ll begin by filling out a short intake questionnaire with key information about your child, your family, and the surrounding environment.

By the time you arrive for your first meeting, we’ll already have a clear understanding of your child’s emotional, social, behavioral, physical, motor, and academic background.
You’ll meet with an experienced social worker who will help determine which initial evaluations are needed and work with you to better understand your child’s needs and challenges.

This helps focus the process, avoid unnecessary steps, and save time and resources.
Based on the meeting and information gathered, we identify the appropriate evaluations or services, whether emotional, developmental, communicative, or educational, and recommend the relevant professionals.

This ensures a personalized plan that supports your child’s growth and potential.
The treatment plan, including goals, evaluations, services, and home guidance, is approved by the parents. Throughout the process, you’ll receive regular updates on your child’s progress, with full transparency and care.

At the end of the process, you’ll have a summary meeting to review progress and discuss any ongoing needs.

Machon Tzmicha is a multidisciplinary center that provides evaluation and services for infants, children, and adolescents.
The center is home to an experienced professional team with the appropriate training and expertise, including clinical psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, a social worker, evaluators, and parent coaches. Everyone works in close coordination and shares a common professional language, bringing together all relevant information and needs into one clear picture to support families in an organized way throughout the process.
Machon Tzmicha isn’t unique only because of the quality of its professionals or because everything takes place under one roof. What sets us apart is that you always have someone to talk to.
Things work a bit differently here. One person handles all of your visits and communication, gets to know you and your child, shortens processes, connects between professionals, saves valuable resources, and helps you make clear, timely decisions.

The center is located in the heart of Modiin and was designed with children and families in mind. It’s a warm, welcoming space that offers services in both Hebrew and English and operates during convenient hours. The facility spans over 400 square meters and includes 12 fully equipped evaluation and service rooms, as well as a sensory room designed to support a wide range of needs.
Machon Tzmicha was founded by Esti Schuster and was inspired by her own experience as a mother of children with special needs. Her vision was to create a place where children can develop and reach their potential, even in the face of challenges, while giving parents clarity, guidance, and a sense of confidence along the way.
